Caresies: From Ideation to Creation
Caresies was launched in 2023, but the roots and ideation of Caresies go back much further.
Our founder was a typical busy kiwi parent, juggling a household with two kids under five and two parents working full-time. One of the family's challenges was always finding reliable childcare that was flexible and trustworthy. The kids were always home sick from daycare and there was only so many times that Grandparents could be asked to help.
After noticing that family and friends all had the same problem, he figured there must be a better solution. From there, Caresies was born.
Whether it's a last-minute carer needed for a sick child home from daycare or a permanent nanny who can help regularly with school pick-ups - Caresies is a platform created to help parents find a quality carer who can help.
